fountain of roots aka cultural soul

azzizah has grown as ah musician since her days with last lyricist, she has moved on and has flourished with her husband in the goup called fountain of roots, now in my first visit to cali and first live venue concert series and live performance viewing in cali,, it was great to see azzizah and her husband team up with more musicians that play every saturday or so at wholesome foods under the tilte cultural soul,. the performance was very professional and the music was very afro-centric,with ah dash of reggea and hip-hop, as ah group they could be defined as as rhythem and blues band,. azzizah sang one of the songs that i have on my soul sister cd, love. that song has ah nice melody and is filled with love. i definately enjoyed the music and the food at wholesome foods, i also enjoyed azzizahs green pop-corn, i bought two bags, the small one and the large bag. if your every in the LA area by overhill and slauson make sure to check out the wholesome food store on ah saturday, cultural soul might be playing there and the music is food for your soul.
